Student Emergencies

Extraordinary circumstances like natural disasters, an unhealthy living situation, or a death in the family can be hard to process while also managing the daily responsibilities of being an LPS student.

Funding helps ensure that the most basic and immediate needs of students are met so they can better focus on learning. Last school year, the Student Emergency Fund supported families 537 times, helping more than 1,800 students and family members with nearly $99,000 in rent, utilities, groceries, gas, and other essentials.

But in just the first month of this school year, the need has surged and over $30,000 has already been distributed. At this pace, the demand could more than double what we saw last year—and the fund has already been depleted.

When tragedy hits, you can support and lift up students by donating today.
